Hailing from the greater Chicagoland area, Jaimie was not your usual gal in the neighborhood. She spent most of age 7 in KISS make-up. Throughout her formative years her 3 big brothers not only shaped her musical tastes with Cheap Trick, AC/DC, and the local Chicago power-pop scene, but also took her motocross riding and taught her how to bondo cars. In 1992 while attending college in Athens, Ohio she bought her first bass, a Hofner knock-off that she modified leftie. Unfortunately she had to sell it after graduation to help finance her cross country move to San Francisco.

It wasn’t long until Jaimie found another bass to modify a groovy 1971 Gretsch. In the late 90’s she played in a trio, mysteriously named 19, but when they hit 20 the group's days were numbered. Jaimie decided to put the rock on hold while working corporate America with a fine chamois. In late 2000 at one fateful party, Jaimie met Lori, holy shit! Fists flew, screaching bitch calls were flung, hair got ripped out and shortly thereafter she was shoved into joining Poontwang. Jaimie and her hand have a tumultuous yet loving relationship with the bass fretboard, so don't interrupt if she's arguing with her fingers, just slowly back away and don't lock eyes with her.
